covid safety precautions
Big Picture Learning looks to the standing CDC guidance when it comes to making policy decisions regarding COVID precautions while planning our conferences. Recognizing that some of these policies may change, for now please consider that in order to attend this BPL Conference you must be fully vaccinated and be able to provide proof of vaccination upon registration at arrival of the conference. If you do not have proof of vaccination, you will be asked to sign a self-attestation from (acknowledging the risk of gathering in a large group) and perform a daily rapid test.
The wearing of masks is optional; however BPL respects the right of any attendee who chooses to wear one. We kindly request that any and all Conference participants show the same respect.

considerations
We are excited to once again offer in person conferences; however, if a determination is made (by Big Picture Learning, our event hosts or otherwise) that we are unable to offer an in-person conference, we will use best reasonable efforts to credit your registration fee to a future Big Picture Learning conference of your or your organization/school/district's choice.

Note: Big Picture Learning is not liable for airfare, lodging, and/or all other travel costs not included in your registration selection. Additionally, if this Big Picture Learning Conference is canceled in its entirety for any reason, you agree that (aside from obtaining a deferral credit for your registration) you will have no remedy against Big Picture Learning, at law, in equity or otherwise; including - without limitation - for a refund of payments made, expenses incurred, or any actual, consequential, or punitive loss or damages of any kind, regardless of whether such loss or damage was foreseeable or Big Picture Learning was advised of the same.

additional policies
The official conference start is 6PM CT on Monday, July 24, 2023. The conference concludes at 1 PM CT on Thursday, July 27, 2023. If air travel is included in your conference registration, BPL will book your ticket based upon the information you've provided in the attendee profile. Once the ticket has been purchased, you will receive a copy of your itinerary and will have 24 hours to change or cancel your itinerary. We will be unable to refund airfare costs after that. Tickets are nontransferable. Change and/or cancellation fees are the responsibility of the attendee.

If Big Picture Learning is booking your lodging as part of your registration, your package includes hotel accommodation for the nights of Monday, July 24; and Tuesday, July 24; and Wednesday, July 25. Payment for any additional dates will be the responsibility of the attendee. If the attendee is unable to attend the conference, they most contact the hotel directly (and no later than July 21, 2023) to cancel their reservation. After this date, the conference attendee is responsible for any hotel charges incurred.

As part of your registration, you grant Big Picture Learning permission to document or record your participation via written, audio, visual, audiovisual and/or any other media formats and acknowledge that the recordings may include or incorporate your name, likeness, voice, persona and/or copyrightable materials provided in connection with your attendance.
